We need your ideas, experience, and insights!

Will you join your district’s Community Policing Advisory Board?

Since July 2023, the City of Madison Police Department (MPD) and the Madison Community Policing Foundation (MCPF) have been meeting monthly with 30 Madison citizens serving as consultants on Community Policing Advisory Boards (CPABs) in each of Madison’s six police districts

These dedicated, generous individuals have committed to a number of hours each month to growing trust and legitimacy between residents and police through meetings and events throughout the year. (You can read about their current and past work on our main Community Policing Advisory Board page. You can also learn more about their experience in our 2024 CPAB brochure.)
